Terms of Use

Effective: July 24, 2026

1. Who you're contracting with

ParseMeet is provided by Omar Selim, an independent developer (Alwin-Brandt-Stieg 8A, 25474 Hasloh, Germany). Contact: support@parsemeet.com. By downloading or using ParseMeet you agree to these terms.

2. What ParseMeet is

ParseMeet is an app for macOS and iOS that records meetings you choose to record and generates structured notes — decisions, action items, and summaries — using Apple's on-device and Private Cloud Compute models.

3. License

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ParseMeet on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Where these terms are silent, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. This agreement is between you and Omar Selim, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.

4. Trial and purchase

ParseMeet includes a 7-day free trial with every feature unlocked — no payment details, no account. When the trial ends, recording locks; nothing you created is deleted, and you can keep reading and editing your notes. Unlimited recording is unlocked by a one-time in-app purchase, at the price shown in the App Store. There is no subscription.

Purchases are processed by Apple as merchant of record. Billing, payment methods, taxes, statutory withdrawal rights, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms — refund requests go to Apple, not to us.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for using ParseMeet lawfully — above all, for complying with recording-consent laws, which differ by country and region. Obtain any consent your jurisdiction requires before recording a conversation. Don't use ParseMeet to violate others' rights, and don't reverse-engineer the app except where the law permits it regardless of this clause.

6. Your content

Your recordings and notes are yours. They are stored on your device — and, for your notes, in your personal iCloud, which we cannot access; we claim no rights over them.

7. AI-generated content

Notes are AI-generated and can be incomplete or wrong. Review them before relying on them. ParseMeet is not a substitute for verbatim records where accuracy is legally required (for example court, medical, or regulatory records).

8. Intellectual property

The app, this website, and their design and branding remain the property of Omar Selim or his licensors. If you send feedback or suggestions, you grant a free, perpetual license to use them without obligation.

9. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights, including those for consumers under German law, apply. Features that depend on Apple Intelligence require supported hardware and an enabled Apple Intelligence; we cannot guarantee the uninterrupted availability of operating-system features that Apple may change.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten), limited to the typical damage foreseeable at the time of contracting. Any further liability is excluded.

11. Changes

We may update the app and these terms. Material changes to the terms will be announced with reasonable notice — in the app or on this site. If you continue using ParseMeet after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
